My Story
Hi there! My name is Pam and I’m so excited to be part of the Chatty Therapy team!
I’m a recent graduate from the University of Alberta Speech Language Pathology program with a passion for working with children and adults on their speech, language, and feeding development. Over the past couple of years, I have worked with children in the beginning of the preschool years, all the way through to adults in their end-of-life. Whether it be one-on-one in your home, the community, acute or long term care, or even through a screen, I strive to ensure the session is fun and functional for the client and family I’m working with. I believe that client and family centred services provide the greatest development towards meaningful goals and lasting growth.
I have a wide range of growing expertise in early language development, articulation, alternative and augmentative communication, fluency, deaf/hard-of-hearing populations, traumatic brain injury rehabilitation, feeding/swallowing management, as well as social communication. Continuing to grow my skills and improve as a clinician is an important aspect of my career as a speech language pathologist!
