Alexis Baird R.SLP

Hello!  My name is Alexis Baird, and I’m so excited to be a part of the Chatty Therapy team.

 

I graduated from the University of Alberta with a Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology.  Since then, I’ve had experience working with pediatric and adult populations, helping them to achieve their individual speech and language goals.  I’m passionate about working with the family unit as a whole in order to achieve meaningful therapeutic outcomes that will benefit children and their families in their daily lives.  I’m consistently looking for ways to broaden and improve my practice through professional development opportunities, and will use what I’ve learned to deliver up to date evidence-based treatment.

 

I look forward to collaborating with your family in order to determine the most appropriate course for treatment, tailoring my approach to fit with what works for you, and aligns with the interests of your child.  I strive to empower active participation in speech and language targets, with strategies that will be able to fit easily into what you already do every day.
